Jinja soccer giants Bul FC and prisons side Maroons fc have been dumped out of this year’s Uganda Cup competition after losing out on post match penalty kicks.
Bul Fc will only have themselves to blame for not defending Militon Kaliisa’s first minute goal.

Soana made amends in the 54th minute when Musa Essenyi capitalized on Samuel Oguttu’s throw in that went past Franco Oringa in Bul Fc goal. Coach Ayiekoh’s side maintained the scoreline to the last whistle of normal time.

Penalty shootouts
Philip Ssempiira, Mike Kawooya, James Kasibante and John Wakalaita scored for the cooking oil manufacturers while Kakembo, Simon Okwil, Willy Kavuma and Dan Wagaluka grabbed the victory for Soana fc.

Simbwa lost his kick for the hosts while Hakim Magombe and Derrick Walulya failed to convert for Bul FC.

In the other game, Anthony Bongoole rescued Bright Stars at the death of the game to neutralize Patrick Kaddu’s early strike while Hood Muliki failed to convert the 8th penalty to give away the win.
