Uganda Premier League defending champions KCCA FC are set to host Tusker FC in an international build up friendly, ChimpSport reports.
The development was revealed by the team’s chairman Mr. Julius Kabugo on Friday afternoon.
“KCCA FC shall host the Kenyan champions (Tusker FC) in an International friendly on (Saturday) 26th November 2016 at Lugogo stadium,” Kabugo said.
Tusker are the new Kenya Premier League champions after sportingly ousting Gormahia FC. They will be crowned on Saturday 19 November after their final league clash against the former champions.
KCCA FC are on top of the local league table with 28 points, four and eight above SC Villa and Vipers SC who are second and third.
The Kasasiro boys are entitled to represent the country in next year’s Caf Champions league by virtue of winning the 2015/16 league. Same applies to the Kenyan brewers.
“We thought we needed to test the team now before the January transfer window just to give us a status quo,” he added.
This will be the second time Tusker is making a trip to Uganda following their earlier preseason tour in January.
