
After holding two successful women elite league seasons, Fufa has notched up to introduced the inaugural Fufa women’s cup slated to roll out in January next year.
The tournament is mandatory for all the sixteen Fufa women Elite league clubs while its also open for all interested teams across the country.

“Fufa has opened the registration across the nation for all interested women football clubs/teams to take part in this maiden edition,” Fufa Competitions committee noted.
“To be registered, a club/team shall fill and return the attached entry form to the Fufa house with proof of payment of applicable fees to the Fufa Bank accounts.”
Elite league clubs are expected to part with one hundred thousand shillings as registration fee charges. Regional league clubs and teams will pay UGX 75,000 while the non-league sides interested to take part are required to pay 150,000.
Important date to note.
The registration period opens on officially opened on Thursday 17 November and will run for exactly one month.
Preliminary Draws will be done on January 11th with the competition expected to kick off ten days later. The final will be played on May 27th at a yet to be decided venue.
