Muhammad Shaban will aim inspire his club Onduparaka FC as they welcome BUL FC from Jinja in a match where he returns home for the first time since being crowned the Most Valuable Player this year.
The youngster was crowned on Friday night and was on the score sheet barely quarter an hour in his next game on Saturday. The caterpillars overcame Saints in Bombo to pick first away win.
The caterpillars have not lost any of their last five games with two consecutive wins. They have also not tasted defeat at home overcoming giants KCCA FC, SC Villa, Police and Vipers. However the team has struggled against low ranked clubs, drawing with Proline and JMC Hippos.
“Bul’s position on the table does not mean they are a bad team,” coach Mbabazi noted.
“They have some exciting, physically strong players, an experienced coach and they are fighting the drop zone. These factors make them a difficult opponent to play against.”
“We need the points more than them and therefore, its a fixture where we need quick goals to avoid unsporting characters.”
BUL FC on the other hand have had a torrid first half of the season under coach Frank Anyau’s tenure. They currently languish in the bottom zone with only eleven points out of thirteen games.
The cooking oil makers received a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Soana FC in Jinja on Saturday.
“We played our worst game on Saturday, I just called it a black day,” Anyau said adding that, “There is room for change and that will be done before Tuesday evening.”
“We shall just play our game and will not be intimidated with their fans.”
The hosts will miss the services of wing back Simba Sabir who is out with an ankle injury, Okhuti (knee), Olega sizza with home issues to attend, Olinga (malaria) Gadaffi Gadinho out on suspension but will welcome back Gaddafi Wahab from suspension.
BUL have no serious injury but are likely to rotate their squad with Keeper Mujampani coming in for Emma Kalyowa and Junior Mukisa reinforcing the defense after a calamitous game in Saturday.
