
The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has postponed three match-day 19 fixtures that were initially lined up to take place on Friday 11th April in order to allow the clubs to release players to the national team.
The Cranes will travel to Arua for the ‘Cranes Namutima’ regional tour against West Nile select on Saturday at the Greenlight stadium.
“The Uganda Premier League Secretariat is in receipt of a list of players summoned for the Cranes regional tour match against West Nile select team scheduled for Saturday 12th March 2016 in Arua.”
The matches that have been affected include that of BUL FC versus Police FC that was to take place at Kakindu, SC Victoria University and Bright Stars FC and finally Express FC and The Saints FC game.
Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ has called a total of 12 players from the affected matches. They include; Mathias Kigonya, Joseph Nsubuga, Bernard Muwanga (Bright Stars), Sadat Kyambadde , Rahamat Senfuka
(Police F.C), Hassan Musana, Yasin Mugume (The Saints F.C), Allan Kayiwa, Sam Kintu (Express F.C),Yunus Sibira and Militon Karisa (BUL F.C).
Only three games will be played on Friday.
