Afcon 2017: Gyan Maintained as Grant Makes Four Changes for Egypt Clash

With qualification to the knock out already secured, Ghana’s head coach, Avram Grant has made changes to his team to play Egypt in a group D match day three fixture.

The Black Stars currently top the group with six points and need a draw against the Pharaohs to secure top spot.

Midfielders Thomas Partey and Mubarak Wakaso have been rested and their places taken up by Daniel Amartey and Badu Agyemang Badu.

Youngster Andy Yiadom who plies his trade in England with Barnsley officially receives his debut.

Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful shifts to patrol the left flank as Mensah comes in to support John Boye to protect Brimah.

Team skipper Asamoah Gyan leads attack together with Andre Ayew. The duo have been instrumental with two of Ghana’s goals in the tournament on their name.

The match will be played in Port Gentil.
