
Cameroon goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa has been named the best shot stopper ahead of legendary Egyptian star Essam El Hadary.
Both keepers conceded three goals but the 21 year old Sevilla man was chosen. Ondoa has been instrumental to the team with fine saves which include a Sadio Mane’s decisive penalty shoot in the quarters.
Indomitable Lions attacker Christian Bassogog was named the Total Man of the Competition, the tournament version of the Most Valuable Player
DR Congo striker Junior Kabananga, with three goals, automatically gets into the squad as the top scorer and golden boot winner.
Losing finalists, Egypt, were awarded the fair play award.
