Lungujja Galaxy 0-6 KCCA FC
KCCA football club booked their place in the Uganda cup round of 16 with a comprehensive victory against Lungujja Galaxy.
Derrick Nsibambi netted a hat trick as KCCA run riot past Kampala regional league side Lungujja galaxy at Phillip Omondi stadium on Wednesday.
Starting with virtually majority of his best lineup, Mike Mutebi’s charges dominated proceedings throughout the game in a one sided affair.
Derrick Nsibambi opened the scores as early as the 12th minute tapping home from a Geoffrey Sserunkuma pass to give KCCA FC an early lead.
Three minutes later, Tom Masiko doubled the lead before Geoffrey Sserunkuma converted from a penalty for KCCA FC to take a 3-0 comfortable halftime lead.
Geoffrey Sserunkuma scored his second of the day and KCCA FC’s fourth, 5 minutes after the hour mark with an acrobatic volley off Isaac Muleme’s cross.
Derrick Nsibambi completed his hat trick with 5 minutes to time,first heading home Mutyaba’s corner before powering a thunderous shot in added time to complete the rout.
KCCA FC now shift focus to the CAF champions league where they will play Angola’s club desportivo Primeiro de Agosto in the return leg on Sunday.
The team team will first play a friendly game with Proline on Thursday morning at Namboole before heading to Angola.
