In a bid to have a good test ahead of the return leg against CD Premeiro de Agosto in the preliminary round of the CAF champions league on Sunday, KCCA FC had a build-up game against Proline at Mandela national stadium.
The game ended in a barren stalemate with either side failing to be effective in the final third.
Despite failing to score, Mutebi was convinced the team got a good challenge ahead of the game against Agosto.
“We didn’t score but I’m glad we got a good test against Proline,” he said.
“They (Proline) are a team that love possessing the ball and that is exactly what Agosto played when they came here, so I believe it was a worthwhile build up game,” Mutebi stated.
Mutebi gave playing time to several youngsters including Kiiza Mustafa,Allan Okello and centre back Peter Magambo while Tom Masiko who is returning from injury played the entire game.
