
Vipers youngster Laurent Iradukunda has been left out of the Rwanda junior Wasps (U-20) 18-man squad that will feature against Uganda Hippos on Saturday in the return leg of the AFCON U-20 qualifiers in Kampala on Saturday.
Head coach Jean Baptista Kayiranga released the 18-man team after Thursday training held at the Amahoro training ground in Kigali.
The tactician has made only five changes to the team that featured in the team sheet in the first leg one all draw.
Defender Ewing Ndagiyamana is the only first team player that is missing and has been replaced by Patrick Ndikumana.
The other four dropped from the bench include Ilias Rucogoza, Claude Ishimwe, Bonheur Hategekimana and Janvier Bonane.
Blaise Itangishaka scored a 17th minute opener to give Rwanda an early lead just before Edrisa Lubega equalized for Uganda in the 34th minute.
The overall winner from both legs will face Egypt at the final round of the qualifiers.
Seven teams will emerge from the qualifiers to join hosts Zambia for the tournament scheduled for 26 February to 12 March 2017.
The Junior Wasps team has departed aboard RwandAir to Nairobi-Kenya where they reconnect to Entebbe International Airport with expected arrival set at 23:00.They are booked at Africana Hotel in Kampala.
