Kawempe Muslim 4-1 UCU Lady cardinals
Reigning best Fufa female footballer Hasifa Nassuna proved her sheer class yet again as Kawempe Muslim outclassed Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady cardinals.
Nassuna singlehandedly led Kawempe to a 4-1 comeback against UCU in the Fufa Women elite league game played at the valley ground in Kawempe on Saturday.
The silky forward scored all the four goals to help the defending champions stretch their unbeaten run and perfect record to 8 games.
This was the second time that Nassuna was scoring four goals in a single game this season. She also scored a quadruple as Kawempe Muslim annihilated London Stallions 10-0 and now leads the scoring chats with 15 goals in 8 games.
UCU Lady cardinals took the lead as early as the 8th minute through midfielder Esther Kadondi who was scoring against her former team. Kadondi was part of the Kawempe team that won the inaugural league in 2015.
However, the lead didn’t last long with Nasuna leveling matters moments later before adding three more goals in the second half.
The result means Kawempe Muslim move to 24 points in 8 games and cement their lead in the Elizabeth group. The warriors are just a win away from sealing a playoff slot.
In Victoria group, Gafford Ladies who are yet to win a game this season take on She Mak in Kanyanya , She Corporate play Ajax Queens in Nakawa while Uganda Martyrs High School, Rubaga face Eastern Heroes.
