Shot stopper, Mathias Muwanga’s excellent play in between the Sadolin Paints goal ensured Sadolin Paints pick four points this season from two time Uganda premier league champions URA FC after their clash at Bugembe ended goalless.

The young custodian who was stretched out of last match against Police FC recovered on time to return for the league’s most lethal striker (Ssentongo) and the best attacking team.

Action.

The real goal action began after the 30th minute ushered in by Ssentongo who dribbled past four defenders, rolled over for Kyeyune whose powerful shot just drifted away by inches.

Ronald Kigongo was unlucky nine minutes later when he chested down Kyeyune’s in swinger unmarked inside six yard box but Sadolin Keeper miraculously sat on it.

Sentongo had his last say in the opening half when he cut inside from both the deep left, raced to the box before slotting back an angular pass to Kyeyune which Muyanga appeared to have blocked with the hand leaving the URA players ranting for a penalty. The hosts’ biggest miss came in ten minutes into the second half after substitute Jackson Kibirige singled out Basooma from the left. The striker smashed in a stunner only to rattle the lower post.

With two minutes left, Sadolin’s Nazil Serwada made a wonder run before attempting a one-two with Kibirige whose touches wasted the move.

The painters move to seventh with 39 points, one (point and place) below the tax collectors.
