JKL Dolphins 77-67 Betway Power
Andy Lando’s Betway Power staged a wonderful performance in the Men’s National Basketball league with a 77-67 win against JKL dolphins at MTN indoor Arena, Lugogo.
JKL’s Norman Blick got the game started, drawing the first blood when he scored the first unanswered 5 points to put the day’s hosts into the driving seat.
Betway Power who had Diego Anghemi returning to action after a long while, rallied back to lead the first quarter by 8 points.
Isaac Afidra made sure that Betway Power takes the day by scoring 20 points and picking 6 rebounds.
Sunday Okot and Michael Makiadi also reached double figure points.
With losses against Our Saviour, UCU canons and UPDF, the 10 point loss inflicted a 4th successive defeat to the struggling dolphins whose last victory came way back on 11th June against Nsambya based Sharing Youth.
Boniface Okello’s woes may not soon end as the team’s menu still has the defending Champions City Oilers, Ndejje Angels and Pemba Warriors in that order.
