A star-studded Nkima team bowed out of the Bika tournament following a 2-1 defeat by the Nvuma team at Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Robert Ssentongo’s beatiful header put Nkima in the driving seat but Ivan Mbowa levelled for Nvuma to send the game into a goal all draw at halftime.
In the second half, Mbowa Baker scored a brilliant bicycle kick that Simon Tamale could not keep out as Nvuma completed a come-back.
Robert Ssentongo could have tied the game level with a keeper to beat at the death but he’s effort went off target.
Kabugo Savio (Proline), Yasser Mugerwa (St. George) and Robert Ssentongo (formerly at KCCA) were the National team material players that were fielded by Nkima.
In ths first game, Nvuma recieved a walkover following the failure of Ngabi team to make it to the stadium.
