Confirmed reports from Express Football Club have it that they are set to reveal more Sponsorship packages as the club looks to increase their incomes.
The club has of recent attracted a lot of criticism from the media and fans for not paying its players and other staff, including their manager who was recently quoted saying that he had spent months without being paid.
That and the departure of many first team players, especially Saddam Juma and a contingent that left to SC Villa was one of the clear indicators that the club is struggling financially.
Of recent, the Wankulukuku based side unveiled Jungle Fever Youth Club in a deal worth 350M per year in kits and its believed that the club is set to renew its lucrative contract with a pay TV company.
“We will be renewing our contract before this week ends,” reports a source that preferred anonymity.
Express FC’s deal with the pay TV company was the most lucrative in the country, worth Shs305m in one year which saw the club earn Shs12m on match day activities, Shs1.3m full kit decoders, playing kits worth Shs19m, Shs50m sponsorship fee, Shs64m branding club stadium,
It is believed that the club is also in advanced talks to finalize another sponsorship package that is rumored to be Sports Pesa who will invest around Shs6bn into the club.
Last season, Express FC finished in 6th with 44 points collected from 30 league games.
