Buildcon FC 1-2 Lusaka Dynamos
Geoffrey Sserunkuma scored his first goal for his new club Buildcon FC against Lusaka Dynamos in a league game played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The prolific Striker got on scoresheet as early as the 6th minute when he converted in a good ball from Bousandja’s corner to put the hosts in the driving seat.
Sserunkuma could have doubled the lead minutes later but his well-taken shot missed by an inch as Buildcon took a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Mwasa Nsonfwa scored for the visitors to put the game tied just in the 50th minute before Sserunkuma was offloaded in the 80th minute mark as he paved way for “Mwachiaba”.
Chris Mugalu pilled more misery for the hosts when he scored the winner as the visitors executed a perfect comeback.
Besides Sserunkuma, Isaac Isinde and Boban Bogere Zirintusa were the other two Ugandans who featured for Buildcon FC with the later coming off from the bench.
The boys will return to league action on Tuesday when Buildcon will face off with onform Power Dynanos.
The prolific Ugandan striker joined the Zambian based club recently after helping KCCA FC to the triumph of Azam Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup titles.
