KCCA FC 0-3 Police FC
Defending Azam Uganda Premier league Champions suffered another Pre-season friendly Loss to a better Police FC side.
Juma Balinya scored a brace to add on Ben Ocen’s beauty as Police FC cruised to a 3-0 victory at the Startimes Stadium in Lugogo.
How the drama unfolded
KCCA FC had a poor start in the game. Denis Rukundo gave a way a reckless foul in the box for a penalty but Jamal Maliyamangu saved Ochen’s spot-kick.
Few minutes later, Police FC’s prowess paid off when Balinya scored from a beautiful run of play to put the peacekeepers in the driving seat.
Allan Oryiek could have levelled matters for the hosts but his goal was ruled offside.
Ocen who missed the penalty, later doubled the visitors’ lead when he cut inside past Habib Kavuma before slotting a low shot at the near post.
Back in the second half, KCCA FC came back a better team but the defending AZAM Uganda Premier League Champions could not find a clear cut chance, missing a set piece at the box arc.
Police FC got the third out of the blue when Albert Mugisha’s through ball found Balinya before the latter beat off his marker to put the ball into the net, and seal a 3-0 deserved victory.
