Ahead of the clash between African team of the year, Uganda Cranes and record 7-time Africa Cup of Nations Champions, Egypt this Thursday at Namboole; pressure continues to mount from both camps as the D-day nears.
The last time both teams faced was on January 21 this year in the Africa Cup of Nations at Stade de Port Gentil when Egypt’s El Said scored a lone goal in the match.
In the same encounter, Joseph Ochaya had a goal correctly disallowed for offside.
Speaking to ChimpReports at Namboole on Monday, the versatile left back, said: “A win is what everyone is talking about in the camp, we are not here to play; we are here to put up a fight.”
“We need a home win and probably with the way the team is training, the zeal is to win and it’s what everyone needs,” he added.
Even with Premier league Star attraction players in the Egyptian National team like Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny and Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah, Ochaya seems not bothered about their quality.
“Actually, I fear none of their players, I just fear myself,” Ochaya jokingly concluded.
Sources can reliably confirm that the Egypt National team contingent is to arrive in the country today Tuesday at Entebbe International Airport at 8pm using their private charter.
