Barely three days after earning a remarkable 1-0 win over Egypt; the Uganda Cranes have kept their feet on the pedal.
With the dream of attaining the unprecedented feat of playing at their first ever FIFA World Cup, the Cranes have this morning departed for Egypt ahead of the game on Tuesday.
Interim coach Moses Basena named a 20 man squad that will have the task of earning a positive result in Alexandria.
The squad comprises of three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five forwards.
However, players such as Dennis Iguma, Timothy Awany, Tom Masiko and Shafik Kagimu among others didn’t make the cut.
Uganda leads group D on 7 points, one above Egypt while Ghana and Congo Brazzaville have two and one point respectively.
