SC Villa Register another Victory in Rwanda

Uganda Premier League record champions Sports Club Villa ended their three day tour in Rwanda on a bright note.

After earning a remarkable 1-0 victory against Rayon Sport on Saturday, the Jogoos ended the tour with another victory against APR.

SC Villa earned a 2-1 victory against APR in a game played at Nyamirambo stadium, Kigali on Monday.

Wasswa Bossa charges staged a stunning comeback to edge APR in a thrilling preseason encounter.

Prince Buregeye had opened the scores for the home side at the 20minute mark but Alex Kitata levelled matters and the first half ended in a stalemate.

New signing and second half substitute George Ssenkaaba scored the winner for SC Villa in the second period.

This meant he scored his second goal in three games. The other came in the 2-1 loss to Bright stars last week.

SC Villa began the 2017/18 Uganda Premier League season with a home fixture against Soana FC at Masaka Recreation ground on September 12th.
