There is a common saying that states, “Luck has a peculiar habit of favoring those who don’t depend on it.”
And this was the case on Saturday morning as City Oil fueling company conducted the second draw of the Enoc Dubai Desert challenge at City Oil, Nakawa.
Five lucky winners were named at the end of the raffle draw just like it was the case last month.
In a function attended by Salim Al Falahi, who represented Enoc Oil, five people got the chance to win a fully paid trip to Dubai for the desert challenge slated for February next year.
John Paul Lukanga, a taxi driver was one of the lucky winners on the day and will be joined by four other winners.
These include; Eric Kizito,Samuel Ogutu, Robert Mukiibi and Mackenzie.
To take part in the draw, one ought to have at least serviced his/her car( either full or partial) at City Oil branches in Nakawa,Kibuye,Namirembe road and Bombo road.
The five winners will spend three days and four nights in Dubai, have the chance to participate in the desert challenge and also tour around.
Last month, Ali Zirimu, Ibrahim Mohamoud,Solomon Arinaitwe, Jimmy Lubega and someone from Chinese Construction Company.
Besides the trip winners, Kavuma James, Stephen Sebukya and Arinaitwe won themselves hampers while Ssekanyola was a lucky winner of free fuel worth shs 100,000.
The draw will run up to December with five lucky winners every month to get a total f thirty people that will go to Dubai in February next year.
