Following Edward Golola’s sacking from Vipers SC, Peter Onen has become the second victim after BUL FC confirming his sacking on Sunday.
He was sacked together with his assistant coach Ali Hussein, goalkeeping coach Abdul Kigenyi and long serving technical director Frank “Video” Anyau.
It came as no shock to the footballing world since BUL FC has been of recent in poor form.
After a dream start to the season that saw them finish the first round in 3rd spot, the Jinja based side has lost all their three league games in the second round.
Earlier this week, they lost to Regional side Mvara Boys and were subsequently dumped out of the Uganda Cup at the round of 64.
“BUL Football Club and Peter Onen plus three other technical staff namely Kheri Hussein Ali (Assistant Coach), Frank Anyau (Technical Director) and Abdul Kigenyi (Goal Keeping Coach) have today January 25, parted company by mutual consent,” the official statement from the club read.
BUL is now on the hunt for a new tactician and will temporarily be under David Kiwanuka as a caretaker.
Onen left them in 5th position with 29 points on the 16-team StarTimes Uganda Premier League log and their next assignment is hosting Wakiso Giants FC on Wednesday.
