Uganda Revenue Authority FC failed to collect maximum points as they were held by Tooro United at the St Paul Seminary Play ground in Fort Portal on Tuesday.

Following a goal-less opening 45 minutes, Micheal Birungi brought life to the game with the opener, 10 minutes into the final stanza.

The hosts came from  behind to bring the game level with the equalizer from Charles Musiige in the 64th minute.

A point earned in Fort Portal is good enough to add the tally to 30 points from 19 matches played thus far.

“We thank God for the point picked against Tooro United in Fort Portal. I am happy for the point earned. If you remember very well, this is one team that beat us in the first round with all our players,” URA FC head coach Sam Ssimbwa said after the game before adding.

“This time round, we were missing a couple of our dependable players like Joackim Ojera. This point will motivate us to beat KCCA in the next match,” he added.

URA FC’s next game will be at home against KCCA FC this Friday, 31st January 2020 at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje University in Bombo.

Despite earning a point, Tooro United dropped to the bottom of the table on 15 points, same as Proline FC who won 2-1 against Police FC at Lugogo.
