FUFA Women Super League | Match day 7 Result
She Corporate 1-0 Lady Doves
She Corporate head coach Ali Zinda had mixed emotions after his team’s narrow 1-0 win against Lady Doves in the FUFA Women Super League action last evening.
On return to MUBS grounds in Nakawa, Zinda guided his team to a maiden win which was the second of the season.
The dread locked tactician couldn’t hide his admiration for his side’s solidity at home.
“The win is a huge boost in our campaign. We have never lost any game at home and we shall build on that morale-boosting result to encounter our next opponents and improve on our performance,” said Zinda.
The gaffer however admitted that his side were below per in the match and hopes to correct that as soon as possible.
“I’m happy with the win but disappointed with the players’ display and the style of play as we performed on a 60%. However, a win is a win and we hope to develop a winning mentality,” he added
Susan Atim scored the only goal in the 74th minute that secured maximum points for the hosts.
Nevertheless, the win did not impact on the league standings as She Corporate remains 6th on 7 points.
Masindi based Lady Doves, having failed to escape their point drought after losses against Uganda Martyrs (2-0) and Kawempe Muslim (4-2) remains 2nd on 13 points.
