Intercity Dares Park as the Futsal Super League Returns

Intercity SC Busega Vs Park – 9:00pm

Kisenyi FC Vs Aidenal Entebbe – 7:45pm

Kabowa FC Vs Mengo City – 6:35pm

Having spent three months without any action, the Futsal Super League 2019-2020 season and second round action will officially return today with match day six at the MTN Arena, Lugogo.

Since 25th November 2019, the league had set off for the end of round one break, but the stage is set for second-round action return as three games appear on today’s menu.

Second placed Intercity SC Busega will be up against table leaders Park in a highly anticipated clash in the late kick-off.

The pacesetters Park, who have a 100% winning record will aim at stretching their winning streak against a resilient opponent in Intercity.

The Busega based side has ten points and will have hope in Sunday Franco who is their leading top scorer with seven goals.

Park will heavily rely on Iddi Babu and Shafiq Mulangira. Both have scored six and five goals respectively, hence their heroics will be needed to inspire the log leaders.

Elsewhere, 4th positioned Kabowa Futsal Club will be in search of a third win as they play 3rd placed Mengo City in the early kickoff.

Kabowa FC registered two wins in the first round and only saw three defeats in that time, breaking off with only six points out of a possible 15.

Mengo City on seven points will be looking forward to leapfrogging Intercity SC Busega in second, two ahead of Mengo.

Kabowa FC lost 1-3 to InterCity while Mengo City outwitted Kisenyi FC 12-4 in their respective previous games.

Elsewhere, Kisenyi Futsal Club will be eager to sink Aidenal Entebbe further down the relegation zone when the two face off in a midway kickoff.

Kisenyi who lost miserably to Mengo City in their last game, currently has six points in the fifth position, five ahead of bottom placedAidenal.

Kisenyi will rely on Addifatah Ahmed Omar and Umar Sebuliba who have scored seven and four goals respectively as Aidenal turns to Kasozi Jordan Michael.
