Former Kitara and Vipers SC gaffer, Edward Golola has been officially confirmed as the new Head coach of two-time Masaza Cup winners, Ssingo.
Golola has been jobless since getting the sack at the Venoms after a shocking loss to minnows Kajjansi United in the Stanbic Uganda Cup earlier this season, only to be replaced by Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach Kajoba Fred.
Golola isn’t new in this tournament, previously winning the 2013 Masaza Cup tournament as head coach at Mawokota after edging current side Ssingo 1-0 in the finals.
Ssingo last tasted Masaza cup glory in 2018 under Shafiq Bisaso adding to their 2015 title triumph.
Ronald Ssali the Kampala Junior Team (KJT) and Vipers Junior Team head Coach will be his deputy while Michael Kabali will serve as the second assistant with Ali Kiggundu taking the goalkeeping coach role.
Ssingo has also named a 12-man management Committee for the 2020 Championship chaired by Asuman Wasswa.
