With the 2020 Masaza Cup tournament knocking on the door, all the 18 participants are working around the clock to ready their squads and staff before kickoff.
Buluuli Ssaza is the latest to embark on player recruitment, signing Nine players that will feature for Noah Mugerwa’s coached side in this year’s edition.
Among the recruits are defenders Swabulu Mugenyi and Evans Musiime that have joined Buluuli from Busujju while Sharif Sserunjongi Kayaye joins from Bugerere.
Other players include midfielders Eddy Matovu Muna (Buddu), midfielder Isma Lwamitala (Butambala), and Emma Kamya Mampi Makyulo (Mawookota).
Also, University league products, defender Alfred Pascal Muwonge and midfielder Richard Lwanyaga have joined from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi, and Nkumba university as striker Bukenya Viane rises as a Corporate league product.
The 2020 Masaza Cup tournament will kick off in mid-June but this is dependent on whether the current lockdown is lifted and football activities are given green light to resume.
Buluuli has never won the Masaza Cup tournament that started way back in 2004.
