Busiro Ssaza head coach Paul Kiwanuka has named his full backroom staff ahead of the long awaited 2020 Masaza Cup.
Kiwanuka will be assisted by former Buddu Ssaza coach Ronald Lukungu who last led the 2016 champions to a fourth place finish.
Also, Steven Lwanga Mboma has been named the second assistant coach while Bright Taddeo Nyanzi will serve as the third assistant coach.
Uganda Revenue Authority’s Steven Billy Kiggundu has been retained as the goalkeeping coach, hoping to add to last year’s progress.
The big spenders have already renewed forward Gerrard Ogweti’s contract alongside captain Brian Kasule, defender Paul Wasswa and Ivan Mayanja. A new signing in Lawrence Sembatya has joined the ssaza from Kabula.
The 2019 finalists are currently intensifying preparations for the 16th edition in their bid to win their maiden Championship.
The 2020 Masaza Cup tournament was initially slated for this month but remains suspended till further notice as the country fights Coronavirus pandemic.
