13-time Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA Football Club has completed the signing of striker Charles “Neymar” Lwanga and midfielder Ashiraf “Mugume” Fadiga, ChimpReports has learnt.
Lwanga joins KCCA on a three year contract that will keep him at Lugogo until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
He joins the Kasassiro Boys as a free agent after his former club Sports Club Villa failed to fulfill his contractual obligations, having gone nine months without receiving his salary.
Also, Mugume has joined the 2018/2019 league winners KCCA FC on a four-year contract running till the 2023/2024 campaign.
The stylish midfielder “Fadiga” was released by his former paymasters Vipers Sports Club in January this year and has been training with KCCA since then.

Mugume who graduated from Vipers SC development side, St Mary’s SS Kitende previously played for Police Football Club (loan) under coach Abdallah Mubiru.
The latest signings are expected to boost KCCA’s title chances going into next season slated for 17th October and also replace the want away players.
The club is also believed to be in advanced talks with Mbarara City’s striker Brian Aheebwa and Maroons’ attacking midfield gem, Pius Obuya.
