Bugerere Ssaza Football Team has completed the signing of St Lawrence University goalkeeper Arafat Otim.
Otim who featured for the 2016 and 2018 champions Singo Ssaza in the previous edition, joins Bugerere as the second custodian signed by the team in this transfer.
Earlier in May, Bugerere Ssaza also captured Edgars Football Club goalkeeper Ashiraf Lubega from Kyadondo Ssaza.
Otim joins earlier recruits in Paul Mbazira (Edgars Youth), Ronald Senkayi (Black Stars), Umar Luswabi (renewed contract) and defender Dube Kato (Bweyogerere).
Going into the 2020 Championship, Bugerere will be coached by Henry Kabugo, assisted by Andrew Ssali with Joseph Mayor Babigumira taking the goalkeeping coach role.
The 16th edition which was earmarked for June before postponement because of the Coronavirus pandemic is anticipated to be played in October behind closed doors.
Gomba are the record winners with four titles (won in 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2017) while Bulemeezi are the defending champions.
