Winger Joseph Semujju has extended his stay at Uganda Premier League side BUL FC after a series of negotiations with the club.

Semujju had run out of contract with the Eastern Uganda based club at the end of the previous season and was previously linked to a move away from Jinja.

The former Sports Club Villa player signed a one-year contract extension with the Arthur Kyesimira’s side.

Previously, Semujju was linked to newly crowned Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers Sports Club alongside clubs from Poland and South Africa.

The former Vipers SC and Express player joined BUL FC midway through the 2019/2020 season scoring four goals and five assists.

Before signing for the Jinja outfit, he had a trial stint at Polish champions Legia Warsaw and missed the 1st round of the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League as the deal failed to materialize.

Also, BUL FC signed former Wakiso Giants left back, Aggrey Madoi and sources around the club report that an agreement has been reached with Express FC transfer target Godfrey Lwesibawa.

BUL recently let go of Joshua Lubwama, Allan Munaaba, Saddam Masereka, goalkeeper Eric Kibowa, Farouk Banga, Amos Etoju and Willy Makuro as next season’s squad takes shape.
