Paide Linnameeskond 4-0 Tallinna Kalev
Uganda Cranes forward Edrisa Lubega “Torres” was at it again after scoring another brace during Paide Linnameeskond’s 4-0 victory against Tallinna Kalev in the Estonian Premier League on Sunday.
Lubega went off the mark after only Eight minutes into the game before completing his brace on the 16th minute mark at Paide Linnastaadion.
Andre Frolov had put the hosts in the lead after 14 minutes before Karl Mool wrapped up the goal fest for Paide Linnameeskond in the 81st minute.
The brace was Lubega’s third in a row following his exquisite performances against Tallinna JK Legion and FCI Levadia Tallinn.
After the game, Lubega took his goal tally to 10 and is the second leading scorer in the Estonian Premier Liiga lying six goals shy of Flora Tallinn’s Rauno Sappinnen.
The home win drove Paide Linnameeskond to the second position on the league table with 30 points from 16 games as Tallinna Kalev sunk to the bottom on 9 points.
Paide will return to league action on Saturday 15th August as they travel away to Viljandi JK Tulevik.
Elsewhere, Denis Onyango featured for 90 minutes and grabbed an assist in the 81st minute as his side Mamelodi sundowns secured a 3-2 hard fought victory over Bidvest wits in Nedbank cup in South Africa advancing to the final.
In Israel, Kizito William Luwagga featured for the entire match as his side Hapoel Kfar Saba lost 3-0 to Netanya in Israel toto cup.
In Scotland, Bevis Mugabi played for 90 minutes as his side Motherwell fc lost 1-0 to Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League.
In Sweden, Katenda Christopher came off the bench in the 81st minute as his side Haninge registered a 2-1 victory over Sylvia in the Sweden Norra League.
Left back Isaac Muleme also featured for 90 minutes as his Viktoria Zizkov lost 2-0 to Bohemians 1905 in a friendly game.
