Onduparaka Galvanize Technical Team With Double Recruitment

After losing a number of technical personnel and the senior playing staff, Onduparaka Football Club has now embarked on a vigorous recruitment exercise to fill the huge void.

On Monday, the Caterpillars confirmed adding two new members to their technical team in Wamboya Mubarak Abu and Kongo Ibrahim as the assistant head coach and goal keeping coach for the forthcoming season.

Wamboya, a CAF “C” Licensed tactician joins the Uganda Premier League club on a three-year contract and will deputize head coach Vialli Bainomugisha.

He has previously worked with Kibuli United FC (2015-2017), Bugisu Province FUFA Drum Team (2017), Vipers SC (2018) and Kiboga Young FC (2019-2020).

Also, goalkeepers Coach Kongo Ibrahim penned a three-year deal with the West Nilers. His playing career boosts of a number of clubs including KCC FC, SC Villa, Simba SC, Atraco FC as a goalkeeper.

Kongo spent most of his professional coaching career in Rwanda and worked at Espior FC in Rwanda between 2014. He also served at Kibuye FC (2008-10) and Mukura Victory Sports (2010-2014), all based in Rwanda.

Onduparaka has so far confirmed one addition to their squad in Musema Bonny ahead of the 2020/21 season earmarked for 17th October.
