Ugandan Striker Juma Balinya could exit Kenyan Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia Football Club following a string uncleared salary arrears and sign-on fees.

Balinya joined Gor Mahia in January this year on a two-year contract from Tanzania Premier League side Yanga Sports Club.

The forward is said to currently said to be unhappy at the club with reports suggesting that the former Police FC center forward has spent Seven months without receiving his monthly remuneration on top of demanding his sign on fees.

A source close to the player told ChimpReports that Tanzanian moneybags Azam FC have openly expressed interest in landing the Gor Mahia center forward prior to next season’s kick off.

“Azam has approached us and is willing to table a fruitful offer. However, two other clubs have also tabled bid for the center forward and we are still weighing in on the options available,” the source told this website.

It’s reported that Uganda Premier League current Champions Vipers Sports Club have also expressed their desire to sign Balinya and is seen as a replacement for Fahad Bayo who left St Mary’s Stadium for Israel based club Ashdod FC.

Other clubs willing to land Balinya are Kenyan Premier League outfit Wazito FC and Polokwane City from South Africa.

The financially striken Gor Mahia has already lost key players in defender Joash Onyango (Simba SC, Tanzania), captain Kevin Muguma (Petro de Atletico, Angola), David Mapingano (Azam FC), alongside the duo of Boniface Omondi and goalkeeper Peter Odhiambo who have joined Wazito FC.
