With the much anticipated 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season knocking by the door way, Express FC is not resting its laurels in bolstering its squad for the season ahead.
The Red Eagles have added creative attacking midfielder Abel Etrude to their roster, joining the club on a two-year contract.
Etrude who is naturally gifted with his passing abilities and vision while in the middle of the park becomes the club’s fourth signing in the latest player recruitment process at Wankulukuku.
The 23-year old midfield gem signs for “Mukwano Gw’abangi” having featured for Arua based side, Onduparaka Football Club in the previous season.
“I’m happy to be a Red Eagle, arguably the biggest club in this country but most importantly am here to make the team better and with the fan’s support, the sky will be the limit,” Etrude told the club website.
He joins goalkeepers Cryspus Kusiima and Denis Otim together, and centre back Richard Bbosa who have already signed for the Red Eagles.
Prior to next season’s Uganda Premier League earmarked for 17th October, Express FC will be vying for the seventh title.
