Vipers Sports Club crafty midfielder Paul Mucureezi now qualifies to sit on the table of men after being officially introduced by his ‘Love Bird’ Swabale Khainga.
The colourful low-key ceremony which attracted few attendants due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, took place on Thursday at the Bride’s parents home in Mukono.
“The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places,” Mucureezi expressed his delight on his Facebook page.
The momentous events follow the earlier story reported by ChimpReports when the versatile midfielder went down on his knee and proposed to his long time girlfriend Swabale Khainga in front of a packed St Mary’s stadium, moments after Vipers’ marauding victory over Maroons FC towards the end of last season.
“Congratulations to our player Paul Mucureezi who got introduced by his longtime girlfriend Swabale Khainga to her parents today in Mukono,” read the congratulatory message posted by his club Vipers SC.
The Uganda Cranes midfielder joined Vipers earlier this year from Mbarara city and helped the club clinch the 2019/2020 Startimes Uganda Premier League title.
Mucureezi has also previously featured for Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) and Mbarara City FC.
