Onduparaka Confirms Two More Signings

Onduparaka Football Club has announced the signing of two players in holding midfielder Okot Simon and goal keeper Stephen Ogiramoi as the club beefs up it’s squad ahead of the forthcoming season.

Midfielder Okot joins Onduparaka on a two-year contract while Ogiramoi has penned a three-year deal.

Last season, Okot featured for Katwe United in the FUFA Big League before the club’s relegation to the Regional League. He also featured for Lango province in the FUFA Drum tournament.

Ogiramoi becomes the second goalkeeper to have signed for the Uganda Premier League outfit after Augustine Opoka who was unveiled on Saturday from Busoga United.

Ogiramoi has signed a three-year contract

The Caterpillars had already intensified preparations for 2020/2021 season with early signings in Gabriel Matata, Augustin Akoch, Apio Nelson, Emmanuel Odur, Oekch Emmanuel, Bonny Musema, Jerry Jakisa and Okello Jasper.

The West Nilers have also appointed former Uganda Cranes player Dan Obote as their new chief scout in Lango and North Eastern region.
