Uganda Women Football Association Holds 5th Annual General Assembly

The Uganda Women Football Association (UWFA) successfully held their Annual General Assembly (AGM) at the Red Cross Society Headquarters Lubaga.

The Friday Assembly was attended by the FUFA third Vice President Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi and FUFA Executive Committee Member.

FUFA Executive Committee member Chrizestom Kalibbala, Uganda Women Football Association chairperson Margaret Kubingi, FUFA deputy CEO -Football Decolas Kiiza, and Swalley Kenyi (in charge official for the Member Associations) plus other Delegates were all in attendance.

While giving her speech, Hon. Nakiwala urged the Association to become professional on and off the field since it is one of the Member Associations of FUFA.

“Uganda Women Football Association (UWFA) is under FUFA. We urge you to emphasise the issue of professionalism on and off the field,” Nakiwala noted.

A total budget of one hundred and twenty four million, one hundred and fourteen thousand shillings (Shs. 124,114,284) was passed but subject to revision by the members.

The assembly was part of the constitutional requirements leading to the 96th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for Saturday, 17th October, 2020 at Silver Springs Hotel, in Nakawa-Kampala region.
