Express Football Club has on Monday signed midfielder Ivan Mayanja from regional league side CATDA FC.
The midfield maestro joined the Red Eagles on a three-year deal and revealed his targets for next season.
“I am happy to have signed for Express FC, it’s a club i’ve always wanted to join and now that’s it done, the work starts immediately. I am a to help the team achieve the desired goal which is winning silverware,” Mayanja told Express website.
The 20-year-old will be tasked with producing a creative spark for the six-time Uganda Premier League Champions alongside Abel Eturude, John Byamukama and Ibrahim Kayiwa.
He is Wasswa Bbosa’s 18th signing ahead of the upcoming season which is tentatively scheduled to kickoff on the 20th November, 2020.
Other off-season acquisitions include George Ssenkaaba, Murushid Jjuuko, Enock Walusimbi, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Abel Etrude, among others.
