Roving left back Isma Kawawulo has confirmed his departure from Jinja based Uganda Premier League side, Busoga United Football Club.
Kawawulo has took to his official social media platform to bid farewell to the club he joined three years ago.
“Today I bid farewell to the club Busoga United FC which has natured me in my career for the past seasons. The club gave me a chance to don the wonderful jersey and I represented with pride and always gave in 100% whenever I was selected and feel really proud to have shared my talent with the club,” Kawawulo wrote.
He added, “To the management, technical team and team mates thanks for endless support. I leave the club with sweet memories and I will always be part of family in stands as a fan to the lads.”
Before joining Busoga United, Kawawulo also played for Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Nyamityobora in the FUFA Big League.
Last season, he was part of the squad that finished in the 4th position on 42 points, their best league finish since joining top flight league.
Kawawulo was part of the 30-man squad that was recently unveiled at Maroons Football Club for the season 2020/21 together with former teammates Nelson Mandela and Vicent Zziwa.
