The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Benin officials to handle Uganda Cranes return leg tie against South Sudan scheduled for Monday evening at Nayo National stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.
Djindo Louis Houngnandande has been appointed as the center referee for the encounter.
He will be deputized by Gbemassiandan Narcisse Kouton and Eric Ulrich Ayinavo as the first and second assistant referees respectively, while Addissa Abdul Ligali is the fourth official.
CAF has also appointed Amir Abdi Hassan from Somalia as the match commissioner while Kenyan Allan Chikani Khakame is in charge of security details.
The Cranes head into this game at the back of a 1-0 first leg victory registered at the St Mary’s Stadium last Thursday courtesy of a Halid Lwaliwa’s late header.
Cranes left back-cum winger Joseph Ochaya will miss the affair having received a second caution in the qualification phase and could be replaced by Vipers SC new signing Dissan Galiwango.
SC Villa midfielder David Owori is the only new inclusion in the squad that was assembled for the Bright Stars last week while the other players are all available for selection.
A win for Uganda Cranes will guarantee them a slot in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and could become the second team to book a ticket for the final tournament after Senegal.
The Cranes have Seven points in the second position of group B, level on points with Burkina Faso while Malawi (3) and South Sudan (1) are placed in the 3rd and 4th respectively.
