Kawawa Commits Future to Arua Hill Sports Club

Midfielder cum-attacker Rashid Kawawa has renewed his contract with FUFA Big League outfit Arua Hill Sports Club for two more years.

The 20 year old joined Arua Hill SC from Oli Rising Stars FC in 2017 and has since made 28 appearances, scoring seven goals with 13 assists.

For the previous three seasons spent at the club, he has been the second most scoring attacker with 20 goals behind Sabir Edema.

“Signing for this special club was never in doubt. I’m grateful to our fans, my team-mates, and everybody at this club. I believe in Arua Hill SC. We can achieve big things together, we have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for us,” Kawawa noted after extending his stay at the club.

Head Coach Hussein Mbalangu felt contented after securing one of his exceptional players at the club.

“Rashid’s creativity and ball sense is exceptional and now I’m contended with the signing because the two players I was crying for to add in the team have been signed,” Mbalangu noted.

Earlier this week, the club unveiled midfielder Gadaffi Gadinho who joined already signed players in Mike Kawooya, Dan Birikwalira, Baden Mujahid, Rashid Agau, Alfred Leku, Collins Onega, Iddi Abdulwahid and Paddy Muhumuza
