Promoted Uganda premier league club, Onduparaka FC’s fans are scheduled to conduct their first public fundraising drive on Saturday 30th July in Kampala.
The event will take place at the Panamera where the fans and their representatives will wash cars in return for money.
Arua Member of Parliament Hon. Bernard Atiku is expected to be the chief guest together with other legislative leaders from the West Nile region and beyond.
“Onduparaka is a team owned by the community and they organized this to ensure financial stability throughout the season,” the club’s PRO Mr. Otelul told ChimpSport.
“We spent some money to boost the squad and need to improve the team’s welfare to perform better in the topflight.”
The fans executive is aiming at raising about UGX 100-150 M before the beginning of the season.
The caterpillars stormed the local football scene last season booking a direct slot to the Uganda premier league at their first try as well as making it to the finals of the Uganda cup competition.
