Ugandan born left back Fred Nkata won’t renew his contract with Kenyan Premier League entity, Bandari Football Club, the player has confirmed.
The former Sports Club Villa player took to his official social media account to officially confirmed his departure from the club he joined four years ago.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be leaving Bandari FC at the end of my contract this year December 2020. It has been an incredible 4 years since I joined in January 2016. I leave with very good memories that will always remind me that I have a home and a family here and people with whom I have made an everlasting bond,” the post partly read.
“When I chose to come to Bandari,it was to give my all and help to elevate the club to greater heights and I feel that we achieved that. The reasons are solely footballing ones and I feel that now is the time to make another step in the right direction,” Nkata added.
At Badari, Nkaga has enjoyed a series of achievements having featured in the CAF Confederation Cup as well as Sports Pesa tournament with fellow Ugandan William Wadri.
Besides Bandari and Sports Club Villa, the left footed wing back has also played for Tusker Football Club and Nairobi City Stars in Kenya.
