Three Ugandan Officials Entrusted With CHAN Duties

Three Ugandan officials have been appointed for the forthcoming 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament scheduled for next week in Cameroon.

The trio including the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) president Eng Moses Hashim Magogo, Haruna Mawanda and Andrew Jackson Oryada will execute the respective duties in the competition.

FUFA president Magogo will preside over the 16th CHAN edition in his capacity as a Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee member.

Haruna Mawanda and Andrew Jackson Oryada have been appointed as the CHAN Organizing Committee Member and Chief Editor respectively for the content that will be delivered to the media during the championship.

Oryada recently served ad the head of media at the just concluded CECAFA U-17 Zonal tournament/AFCON qualifiers in Rwanda.

The 2020 CHAN tournament is slated for 16th January 2021 to 7th February 2021 in 4 venues in the 3 Cameroonian cities of Yaoundé, Douala and Limbe.

A: Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe

B: Libya, DR Congo, Congo, Niger

C: Morocco, Rwanda, Uganda, Togo

D: Zambia, Guinea, Namibia, Tanzania
