Skillful veteran midfielder Mutyaba Mizamir has officially joined the six-time Uganda Premier League winners Express Football Club on a one-year contract.
Mutyaba joins the Red Eagles as a free agent having parted ways with 13-time champions KCCA FC following his contract expiration at the end of last season.
The 2015 FUFA Most Valuable Player who will don his favourite shirt number 10, believes the “Mukwano Gw’abangi” side suited the bill.
“First of all I’d like to thank the management of the Express FC for making this happen, yes I had many options on the table but none fitted the bill to my satisfaction. I join a club that has alot of ambition, good organization and great players therefore I couldn’t have made a better decision,” Mutyaba noted.
Mutyaba is best known for his ability to break down defences with this intricate passes, expertise at dead ball situations and having an eye for goal with his long range shooting.
Head coach Wasswa Bbosa’s 19th signing of the season will be tasked to ensure the Red Eagles maintain their unbeaten run and better their current 6th league position when the league returns in February.
