The inaugural Uganda Woodball League will hit climax on Saturday at the MUBS grounds in Nakawa.
The games hammer off at exactly 1pm according to the organizers schedule to allow more time for the champions crowning later on.
A total of 17 teams have taken part in this maiden edition with ten from the men’s and seven for ladies.
Botladz Woodball club lead the men’s 39 points, three ahead of St. Josephs institute Kisubi, whole Kisubi corporates follow in the third place with 33 points.
Botladz can seal the trophy on Saturday with a double victory over fifth place Zoe and the title decider against St. Josephs.
Zoe Woodball club lead the race with 26 points, two and four ahead of Lilly and Botladz ladies who have 24 and 22 respectively.
The table leaders have a clash against Kampala International University who have been very unpredictable this season.
The toughest game of the day has second and third place Lilly and Botladz facing off in what looks to be a title-decider. Zoe will be supporting Botladz for the first time if they (Zoe) are to have any chance of landing the League title.
Lilly would be in a better position had they not suffered a walk-over against UNEB last weekend.
