Assistant coach David ‘Kiwa’ Kiwanuka has a huge task ahead of today’s game against Uganda Police FC as the interim in charge of Bul Fc.
The cooking oil manufacturers sent their head coach Alex Isabirye into forced ‘sick’ leave even though our trusted sources reveal that the tactician was given a break for falling out with the club management and a section of the senior players who feel unease with him around.
The former URA FC tactician has also been accused of doing an insider job (double-dealing) at Big League side Jinja SS FC, something that has not gone well with his superiors.
However, coach Kiwa told Chimp Sport that “the camp is in order and our only focus is the game against Police.”
“The technical bench and playing unit are professionals who understand what they need to do. All we are looking for is three points. We know Police FC will come out strong because we picked a point at their home. It’s a time to change the club’s fortunes and get back where we belong ”
The two sides played to a barren draw in the first round game in December but BUL FC are aware of the threat posed by the law keepers who haven’t lost to the Eastern giants since September 2013.
Both sides are in struggling hot and cold form winning only one in the last six games, in the real sense Bul have picked only five of a possible 15 while Police have taken only four.
The coach Sam Timbe side closed the first leg in third spot just two points leaders behind leaders KCCA Fc but are now eighth on the table with 29 points.
Bul FC will miss David Kiiza who failed a late fitness test, militon Kalisa (malaria), and Hakim Magombe. Umar Mukobe who was called to Under-21 squad is also likely to miss.
