AFCON 2017: All Pros in Comoros Squad for Cranes Clash

About seventeen players have been lined up for the Comoros team to face the Uganda Cranes on Sunday 4 in the last AFCON group D match day.

Coach Amiredine Abdou’s squad consists of ten players who ply trade in the second and third division league, others from different European leagues and one from Morocco. None comes from the Comoros local league.

Among the squad includes the captain Nadjim Abdou who turns out for English league two side Millwall FC.

The team has two goalkeepers Ali Ahamada (Kayserispor, Turkey), Clement Daoudou (Granville–cfa, France), five defenders, five midfielders and five strikers.

Half of the team jetted in on Thursday evening and trained at Lugogo stadium while the rest arrive on Friday.
