Afcon 2017: KCCA FC Duo Make Burkina Faso Trip

Only two local based players have traveled with the Uganda Cranes team to Burkina Faso for the upcoming Day Three tie to be played against the Stallions on Saturday night at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou.

The two, Timothy Awany and Joseph Ochaya both feature for Uganda Premier League table leaders KCCA FC.

The Serbian coach has also returned midfielders Hassan Waswa Mawanda and US-based Mike Azira into the team together with striking duo of Emmanuel Okwi and Hamis ‘Diego’ Kizza.

The Cranes flew out on the wee hours of Thursday headed for a stopover in Addis Ababa before connecting to the West African country. They are expected back on Monday ahead of the Matchday Four on Tuesday 29 March at Namboole.
